Jamie Granger is an Associate at Interface-Studio, an urban planning and design practice based in Philadelphia. In this position he has worked on a variety of plans including the Detroit Future City, Downtown Plans for Grand Rapids MI and Atlanta GA, and an Eco-Innovation Plan for Pittsburgh. Jamie is also a second-year City Planning studio instructor at the University of Pennsylvania.
His recent work includes a Community Plan for the Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia. Kensington’s long-standing problems of poverty, unemployment, disinvestment and violence have contributed to it becoming the epicenter of the opioid crisis in the city. The plan sought to address the neighborhoods multidimensional challenges from a community health perspective.
Jamie received his Masters of City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Urban Studies and Economics from Brown University.
